Summary
Two broadsides printed during the strike. The first (43 x 32 cm.), has a landscape layout, and is bordered in black. At the top reads "A proclamation!" and then in red: "Is Massachusetts in America?". There is a picture of militiamen pointing bayonets at a crowd with a caption "Ready to plunge the bayonets into woman's blood" followed by various described conditions about military law and other unlawful actions, as well as a plea for financial assistance to the striking workers. The second broadside (49 x 32 cm.), is laid out as a portrait reading "Story of the industrial war at Lawrence, Mass." including six photographs and many slogans favoring the strike, as well as a request for financial assistance
