Summary
These two manuscripts came into the possession of the Library in two manila envelopes. One read: "photos & info on Italian veterans researched by Phyl Laudani". The second one read: "Research by Phil Laudani -- Sons of Italy Lodge 802; Lawrence landmarks; Lawrence Italian war veterans". The first manuscript includes statistics on immigration, comments on Italian participation in 20th century wars, a list of parks and bridges named after individuals, and lists of Italians (Italian Americans?) killed in World Wars I and II and the Korean War. Newspaper clippings, information about the dedication of the Campagnone memorial, and 22 pages of copies of cards from the Lawrence Public Library index cards showing Lawrence men who died in World War II (with Phil's notes) are also included. The second manuscript contains a picture of Laudani and a biography, followed by information about Lawrence, Mass. and World War II
