[Lawrence, Mass.] at 2:30 p.m." Notice relating to the beginnings of the Lawrence, Mass., textile workers strike, conducted by the Industrial Workers of the World (IWW) which began Jan. 12, 1912 and ended March 14 of that year. The leader of the strike committee was Joseph J. Ettor, of IWW. He was assisted by Arturo M. Giovannitti. After the beginning of the strike, both men were later arrested and eventually released
