- Wizard of Oz: During a tornado in rural Kansas, a young girl is swept away to a magical land and embarks on a journey to see the Wizard who can help her return home
- Gone With the Wind: Scarlett is a woman who is strong and has vitality. She deals with a nation at war, Atlanta burning, the Union Army carrying off everything from her beloved Tara, and the carpetbaggers who arrive after the war. Ashley Wilkes is the man she has wanted for so long, but he is going to marry his placid cousin, Melanie. At a Twelve Oaks barbeque, Mammy warns Scarlett to behave herself. There she meets Rhett Butler. That is the first day of the Civil War. Follows Scarlett through the war and Reconstruction, through her husbands and the death of her daughter to being left behind after Melanie dies
- Casablanca: Casablanca: easy to enter, but much harder to leave, especially if you're wanted by the Nazis. Such a man is Resistance leader Victor Laszlo, whose only hope is Rick Blaine, a cynical American who sticks his neck out for no one - especially Victor's wife Ilsa, the ex-lover who broke his heart. Ilsa offers herself in exchange for Laszlo's transport out of the country and bitter Rick must decide what counts more - personal happiness or countless lives hanging in the balance
