Summary
  • National Lampoon's vacation: When a typical American family takes a cross-country vacation, it can only mean one thing: total disaster!
  • Funny farm: A Manhattan sportswriter abandons his career for life in the country
  • Beetlejuice: After Barbara and Adam Maitland are killed in a car crash, they find themselves trapped as ghosts in their beautiful New England farmhouse. Their peaceful 'existence' is disrupted when a yuppie family, the Deetz's, buy their house. The Maitlands are too nice and harmless as ghosts and all their efforts to scare the Deetz's away are unsuccessful. They decide to call Beetlejuice, a people-exorcizing ghost, for help
  • The NeverEnding story: The Nothing threatens to destroy Fantasia and its Child-like Empress and a young warrior sets out to save them
  • Batman: There's a new breed of criminals in Gotham City, led by the infamous joker. Their random attacks via acid-based make-up are just the beginning
  • The outsiders: Coming-of-age movie set in Tulsa, Oklahoma in the mid-1960s. Ponyboy and his two brothers struggle to find their place in a difficult world after the deaths of their parents
  • The goonies: A band of misfit kids searches for buried treasure in a subterranean cavern. Here they cross the path of Mama Fratelli and her outlaw brood. The kids befriend Fratelli's hideously deformed (but soft-hearted) son, who comes to their rescue
  • Gremlins: When a young bank teller inadvertently breaks the rules of Mogwai care, his new pet, Gizmo, multiplies into a bevy of mischievous brothers, who soon morph into malevolent scaly creatures
  • Poltergeist: Life is very pleasant for a California family until a host of other-worldly forces invades their peaceful suburban home. Their house is turned into a supernatural sideshow, and if the family doesn't clear out, they will be swept off into nightmarish chaos
  • Little shop of horrors: In this musical, Mushnik's Flower Shop houses an exotic potted plant called Audrey II. People are rushing in to see it but if they knew the truth, they would rush right out
