These two photographs were stored in the Baltimore Sun archives. They were used for copy covering a story line about the 1984 Lawrence riots. The first one dated on the back Aug. 10, 1984 and the second one Aug. 11, 1984. Both read "Lawrence, Mass. riots". They both have a beige background and black print and image., Aug. 9 "Disturbance Aftermath. Firefighters and unidentified man examine damage to a package store in Lawrence, Mass., early Thursday following a disturbance overnight in which nine people were injured. Nearly 80 police officers had to surround a two-block area of the city to maintain quiet after a f-hour [sic] disturbance. (AP laserphoto) Ren Norton". The address is 450 Haverhill St. portrait.
