Summary
"John Hawks is a hard working college student and football star from out West who meets the beautiful Easterner heiress Alison Corning at a party. Unfortunately Alison likes her men ambitious , successful and rich and is put off by Hawks' humble origins. To impress her, Hawks takes a job with her father Stephen Corning on Wall Street but unwilling to sacrifice his honor and character to make the greedy company money at the expense of others he quits. However Hawks has a scheme to make his fortune his own way: by pirating alcohol from smugglers!
