880-01, One half of this collection is the remains of the City Hall Eagle. The largest piece is 45 cm long and 9 cm. at its widest point. The second largest piece is 27 cm. long and 7 cm. at its widest point. The third piece is 17 cm. long and 7 cm. at its widest point. The first two pieces are part of the wings; the third is either a beak or a talon. All three show signs of gilding. The last three pieces are manually cut dowels ranging from 20-22 cm long and 2-3 cm. in diameter
