Arlington Mills Band, a group sponsored by Arlington Mills in Lawrence, Mass., was created in 1919. Its first public appearance was made on April 16, 1919 when it led the parade of World War I service men returing from Europe. George Tetley was band director from its beginning and was still director in 1941.
