Fifty-five photographs of the library, chiefly taken in the years before (1973) it moved from its first building at the corner of Haverhill and Hampshire street to the present address at 51 Lawrence Street., Initially the photos show the disintegration of the building and later show demolition of part of it. Includes several shots of the library interior during the 1920s, exterior shots, and five color snapshots taken just after the new building was occupied
