Summary

This framed image was a gift from Christine Lewis, local researcher. She scanned a stereo slide owned by Joe Bella. This image is one of the two known photographs of the ruins of the Pemberton Mill that collapsed and caught on fire Jan. 10, 1860. The copy measures 28 x 13 cm. Both images of the slide are shown with the writing on the left side "Catastrophy [sic] at Lawrence." The image is double matted and set in a wood frame 41 x 26 cm
