Summary
This scrapbook appears to have been compiled by Josephine Arsenault. There are a number of pages where she writes notes concerning birthdays and other events to her sons that stay in the scrapbook and are never sent to them. Many of the inserts on the pages of the scrapbook are articles taken out of the Lawrence newspapers of the time. Some appear to be from magazines. There is one page of cartoons from the Wilkes Barre Independent. Most are concerning the war, but others are about Sacred Heart Church, an ad for Doris' Beauty Salon, and possibly other family members. The scrapbook contains 84 pages altogether, a number of loose newspaper articles, and eight photographs
