Summary

Single account book which was started Apr. 20, 1865 by city auditor, Elbridge B. Osgood. The book follows monies collected and dispersed. In 1867 the top of the pages reads: "Disabled soldiers, sailors, and the families of the slain", with Osgood listed as paymaster. He was followed by John E. Cushing in 1874 and by Richard J. Shea in 1888
